How can i tell if creepers shoes are real or fake?

i want to buy a pair but would be getting them from the internet i know that if they are cheapish they are probably fake but is there anyway i can tell except from the price of them? also how are they in size would u just buy your normal or 1 size up 1 down because im between a 4 and 4.5 but you dont get many half sizes thanks!
