Age of Empires - How to solve the bad IP in AOE3 for IP Direct
After a lot of tests, I've found a solution to solve the bad IP in AOE3, when I want to play with Hamachi.
First you must have installed Hamachi. I won't explain how, you can find it on the web.
Second, I think you must have Administrator right to execute the solution. I didn't test it as a non-administrator user.
So follow me :
- Start your computer
- Do a right click on "My network places" and choose "Properties".
- The list of all local networks is displayed.
- Select the first one, and do a right click on it.
- Select "Deactivate". deactivate won't be displayed if the network card is already deactivated.
- Wait while windows deactivate the network card.
- Select the next network card and deactivate it.
- Do this for all networks card activated.
WARNING : By doing this, you will be disconnected from your network and so from Internet.
- Start Hamachi. By doing this the Hamachi network card will be activated.
- Reactivate all other network card, by doing the same procedure has before, but selecting "Activate"....
By doing this, you will be able to reconnect Internet and Network.
Start Age of Empires 3, and the IP that will be displayed is the Hamachi network.
If you want to play with an other network card (and an other IP adress), deactivate all network card, and FIRST reactivate the network card that you want to play with.
